Alternative Fashion Week

Living in Brighton, I adore the variations in culture from street to street. This enables me to get creative with my outfits and my writing and I love seeing diversity, especially in the North Laines and Kemp Town.
If, like me, you love things a little bit outrageous, and like to think outside the box, then head upto London for Alternative Fashion Week, from 20th - 24th April! Held at Spitalfields, (I think the nearest tube is Aldgate East) this fashion week is worlds apart from LFW, and invites designers to be overtly creative with everything from their designs to the materials they use - especially if it's been recycled!

Over 60 designers from all over the world come here to showcase their incredibly innovative designs - it's an event not to be missed! Not only that - but admission is free to anyone - so there are no excuses, you simply must get down to London to experience a fashion event truly worthwhile!
Here are some pictures from last year's AFW.
