Costelloe took inspiration from the beautiful 'Park Avenue' residents and the colour palette used oozed NYC chic. Using a mixture of brown, gold, silver, deep red, mauve and black, Costelloe brought a new twist on City Chic.
One of my favourite looks from the show was Look 10 - a beautiful wide hemmed grey short coat, with an exaggerated collar. Paired with thick tights, it's a must-have look for A/W '09! (Not to mention the quirky dress made with the same thick fabric, ribbed short sleeves and a gold neckline!! - The floaty hem is perfectly feminine for those cold winter days!)
Oversized collars were popular; sharp and edgy on coats, and round and pleated on dressed - whichever way, make sure all collars are big for your A/W look!
Wide hems, buttons, ribbed shoulders, exaggerated waists, deep zips and beautiful fabric's won the crowd's heart, as claps got louder and cheers were raised when Mr Costelloe himself took to the stage at the end.
Here are two of my favourite looks, again, it took a while...(http://www.vogue.co.uk/fashion/show.aspx/catwalk-report/id,7721)
